This is the least expensive guitar in my whole collection of 36…or maybe it’s 37 since I bought the fiesta Red Strat…
This is 2010 Fender Standard Stratocaster, made in Mexico. I paid 350 dollars for it. But at the moment I think it looks better than some of the guitars in my collection that I paid 5 or 10 times as much for!

The Fender Stratocaster is the greatest invention of all time.
Everything about it is perfect to me. 3 sparkly single coil pickups for an array of tonal possibilities, a whammy bar, a comfortable contoured body that’s perfect for playing while seated, and it’s aesthetically beautiful with a classic appearance that doesn’t look out of place today.
The fact that many of my favorite guitarists played them is a plus too.
